How can I add inventory into locations?

To add inventory into locations, you can follow these steps:

1. Export Your Products:

  • In the DataEase app, go to the "Export" section.

  • Select "Products" from the "Select Sheets" drop-down.

  • Check the following checkboxes:

  • Basic Columns

  • Inventory / Variants

  • Multi-Location Inventory Levels

  • Click the "Export" button to start the export process.

2. Edit the Exported File:

  • Download the exported file once the export is complete.

  • Delete unnecessary columns, keeping only the following:

  • ID

  • Handle

  • Variant ID

  • Variant SKU or Variant Barcode

  • Inventory Available: (for the locations you want to update)

  • Inventory Available Adjust: (if you want to adjust inventory)

3. Update Inventory Levels:

  • Fill in the Inventory Available: column with the desired inventory quantities for each location.

  • If you want to adjust inventory instead of setting it, use the Inventory Available Adjust: column.

4. Save & Import:

  • Save the edited file.

  • Go back to the DataEase app and import the file in the "Import" section.

  • The app will analyze the file and count how many products you are importing.

  • Press the "Import" button to start the import.
